The Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontian Islands is preparing for the “Corfu Carnival 2024” from February 25th to March 18th, 2024, and invites you to participate in the festivities and celebrations of joy. Our multifaceted and creative Corfiot tradition in the city and rural communities serves as a unique source of promotion and dissemination of our special customs.

Carnival satire remains alive, evolving over time. Disguise, popular participation, creative activities for all ages, song, and dance compose the spirited Corfu. Therefore, the Municipality invites you to contribute this year by declaring your local events (city, communities) and participating in the parades on March 10th and 17th 2024, in the city, until February 9th, 2024. Note that Clean Monday activities are also included in the planning, where they are organized.

Please inform us about the proposed date, the venue of the event, its content (brief description), and your participation in the parades, specifying the theme and the number of participating groups. Further announcements will follow with the Program of events from the Department of Culture, Sports & Youth, as well as guidelines for their conduct.
