The Center for the Preservation of Maritime Tradition “Spyros Zervopoulos” is a modern, visitor-accessible cultural space located within the port zone of Corfu.

Named in honor of the late former CEO of the Corfu Port Authority, it is dedicated to the maritime history of the island and the preservation of traditional shipbuilding craftsmanship.

Designed as a “Port Museum” and eco-museum, it functions as an integral part of the port and the city, connecting maritime activity with cultural identity. The exhibition is structured around key themes such as Corfu’s maritime tradition, shipbuilding, sea transport, and the evolution of cruise tourism.

A standout feature is the dedicated virtual reality space, offering immersive experiences such as the exploration of the ancient trireme “Olympias”. The center plays a significant role in cultural tourism and education, welcoming both cruise visitors and the local community.
