The Gina Bachauer International Music Association is dedicated to preserving the memory and artistic legacy of the distinguished Greek pianist Gina Bachauer and to providing scholarships for talented young pianists pursuing postgraduate studies abroad.
Gina Bachauer was an internationally acclaimed musical personality and one of the leading pianists of her generation. She studied with the distinguished Polish virtuoso and teacher Woldemar Freeman, who played a decisive role in shaping her artistic development.
Throughout her international career, she performed in numerous countries and collaborated with many of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors. She always maintained strong ties with Greece, regularly returning for concerts and recitals.
Supporting young musicians was an important part of her work. Through teaching, seminars, personal guidance and assistance with professional appearances, she actively encouraged the development of the next generation of artists.
Today, the Gina Bachauer International Music Association continues her legacy by supporting and promoting gifted young musicians and contributing to musical education and artistic excellence.
