Corfu is explored not only as a place, but through the people, relationships and small stories that shape its everyday life in the photography exhibition “My City” by the 28mm group.

Presented by the Municipal Gallery of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands, the exhibition creates a human topography of the city through the eyes of its own residents.

Everyday moments, faces, encounters, distances, familiar scenes and unexpected details come together to form a photographic mosaic of contemporary life in Corfu.

Founded in Corfu in 2024, the 28mm group explores the city primarily through street photography. Documentary observation, visual recording and artistic abstraction coexist in the work, allowing photography to move beyond simple representation and become a personal interpretation of reality.

The exhibition opens on Friday, 11 September at 20:00, at the “Thanos Christou” Art Hall, and will remain on view until 10 October 2026.
