Spring Academy was founded in 2015 following research on educational reform in Greece, conducted in collaboration with experts and educational innovation organizations from around the world.
From 2017 to 2019, the academy operated as an annual five-day educational program, organizing weekend activities in Corfu. In 2022, the organization was formally established as an association and now operates throughout the year.
The educational approach of Spring Academy is based on embodied learning, encouraging the development of natural neurological abilities through the integration of arts and sciences.
A core principle of the academy is ecological awareness, inspired by the intelligence and creativity of nature. Through a democratic, flexible and self-directed learning approach, the academy offers educational activities tailored to the interests and needs of participants, with a strong emphasis on multilingualism and the use of multiple languages in the learning process.
