In 2018, Corfu Choir established the Ionian Music and Culture Center, housed in the former Olive Institute building granted by the Greek State.
Within its activities, recognized Music Schools operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, offering vocal training, advanced music theory, piano, violin, guitar, and mandolin lessons taught by certified professional instructors.
The Center also hosts a Traditional Chant Workshop (“local style”) and Ionian folk song workshops, actively preserving and promoting the musical heritage of the Ionian Islands.
