The Cultural Center of OTE Employees and Pensioners of Corfu is actively engaged in cultural activities, with its choir forming the core of its artistic presence.
The choir was founded in 2001 under the direction of the late H. Grigoropoulos and consists of active and retired OTE employees, as well as affiliated choir members.
It is a male choir of approximately 50 members, accompanied by instruments such as piano, mandolins, guitars, and bouzouki. Its repertoire includes Ionian songs, traditional Greek music, serenades (kantades), ecclesiastical hymns, and selected art and light popular works by prominent Greek composers including Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, and Xarhakos.
The choir has developed an extensive artistic activity, participating in numerous concerts and festivals in Greece and abroad, representing Corfu and Greek musical heritage in international cultural events.
Since February 2023, the choir has been conducted by Rozina Anemogianni.
