Ionian Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2020 in Corfu by Ilias Gkogkidis and has established a strong artistic presence both in Greece and internationally.
The orchestra is composed of graduates from leading music institutions and distinguished professional musicians. It has presented numerous concerts in major cultural venues in Corfu as well as performances in European cities.
Its repertoire includes works by prominent Greek and international composers, while also supporting contemporary music creation and emerging artists.
The orchestra places strong emphasis on music education through seminars, masterclasses, and educational initiatives, contributing actively to the cultural life of the Ionian Islands.
