Event Details
Vespers of Resurrection take place at theMetropolitan Church and exactly at 11.00 all churches ring their bells joyfully. At the same time, all people throw earthenware pots from their windows and balconies, filled with water. This is the very old custom of “First Resurrection” symbolising the victory of life over death.
