The Corfu Municipal Regional Theatre was founded in 1997 and is the most recently established theatre within the network of Municipal Regional Theatres of Greece.

Located in Corfu, an island with a rich cultural heritage and strong artistic tradition, the theatre holds a distinctive position as a cultural gateway of Greece towards Western Europe.

Beyond producing and co-producing professional theatre performances, the theatre develops educational programs, cinema and digital media events, as well as community initiatives and activities addressed to socially vulnerable groups.

Through the “POLI–SKINI” Festival, the theatre seeks to integrate the island’s natural and historical environment into contemporary artistic creation, connecting Corfu’s cultural heritage with modern theatrical expression.
