The Corfu Environmental Education and Sustainability Centre is a decentralized regional service of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, under the Regional Directorate of Education of the Ionian Islands.
Founded in 2008, it expanded its activities in 2010 following its merger with the Thinali Environmental Education Centre. Based in the Alykes area of Lefkimmi, it develops educational programmes and initiatives focused on the environment and sustainability.
Its mission is to promote knowledge, values and skills, while raising awareness among students, teachers and citizens on environmental issues and sustainable development.
Its activities include educational programmes, experiential learning initiatives and collaborations with local and institutional partners, implemented by its Pedagogical Team.
