The Arillas Cultural Initiative was founded in 1990 with the primary goal of promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of the region.

Based in the former Primary School of Arillas, the association brings together members from the village and surrounding areas, making it one of the most active cultural groups on the island.

Through a wide range of cultural, environmental, and social activities, it plays an important role in local community life. A key focus is the organization of traditional events throughout the year, as well as an extensive program of Greek traditional dance education.

The association operates four dance groups (preschool, children, teenagers, and adults), along with additional activity groups, fostering participation, creativity, and the transmission of cultural values to all generations.
