The Hellenic Union of Heptanesians was founded in 2010 as a civil non-profit organisation, with the aim of preserving, promoting and disseminating the historical and cultural heritage of the Ionian Islands.
Through cultural and commemorative events, music and theatre productions, conferences, publications and collaborations with institutional, cultural and scientific organisations, it promotes the history, arts, music, literature, customs and traditions of the Ionian Islands.
At the same time, it works to strengthen the bonds between Heptanesians and friends of the Ionian Islands in Greece and abroad.
