Founded on March 6, 1893, the Kerkyraikos Gymnastic Club is one of the oldest athletic associations in Greece.
As a founding member of SEGAS (Hellenic Amateur Athletic Association), the club played an active role in the revival of the Olympic Games in Athens in 1896. Over the years, its athletes have participated in national and international competitions, with many representing Greece in national teams.
