The Agios Prokopios Cultural Association has been active in the village since 1980. To this day, its presence remains active, bringing life to the local community and beyond. The Association strengthens the bonds among residents and promotes tradition. The new Board of Directors, elected on March 29, 2026, has as its vision and goal to highlight the area’s cultural heritage, creating a bridge that connects the past with the present, so that collective values are promoted and cultural homogenization is prevented. In this field, the Association is always active through the organization of events. These include the two village festivals: All Saints, as well as the major festival of Agios Prokopios, which takes place every year on July 7 and 8, attracting a large number of people. Also, towards the end of the summer, the established “pastitsada night” is organized, accompanied by fun and dancing. Finally, the recreational activities and excursions that take place from time to time are another way of bringing the residents together.
